Dr. Mahon grew up in the Atlanta area, received his Biology degree from LaGrange College, and in 1994, completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University. He is board certified in diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular disease and is a longstanding member of the Georgia Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Additional areas of interest include contact lenses, low vision care, corneal refractive therapy, and co-management of laser vision correction.
Dr. Mahon lives in Snellville with his wife, Dr. Lan Mahon, who practices Family Medicine in the same professional building, and his daughter, Sophia. In his spare time, Dr. Mahon enjoys family activities and recreational fitness. Many local residents have received medical care from Dr. Mahon's father, Dr. Thomas Mahon, Sr., who has provided outstanding pediatric care over the last 30 years and continues to practice at Snellville Pediatrics.

Nancy Truong, OD, was raised in Ontario, Canada, and graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston where she received her Psychology and Biochemistry degrees. She attended Optometry school in Chicago and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2002.
Dr. Truong completed her internship at the Veterans Affair in Maryland, a Pediatric Vision Therapy internship in Conneticut, and performed her Ocular disease training in practices in central Florida. Dr. Truong is part of the Georgia Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the College of Vision Development.
Dr. Truong's special area of interest is the eye's role in visual function, learning, and development. She practices Vision Therapy, in which she helps patients to achieve their highest level of visual acuity, vision function and efficacy, which are all important for learning, sports, and everyday life.
She is board certified in Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Agents and Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents. She currently lives in Grayson with her husband, Dr. Minh Ta, and son Pierston. When Dr. Truong is not busy with her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
